There was once a little girl who traveled with her family on what I call your grandmother's bus tours. We would wake up at 6 a.m., rush to breakfast, pack our bags, and hurry to get on the bus so we could travel from city to city. While on the bus, I would often fall asleep and miss half the day.

Yes, we visited many cities. But we never really experienced them.

That little girl was me. And even back then, I knew that wasn't how I wanted to travel.
